Help the Pincourtoise participate in the Paris Paralympics
The Centre Multisports André-Chagnon, where Paralympic tennis athlete Natalia Lanucha trains with her coach, Étienne Bergeron, has announced a fundraising weekend on September 23 and 24 from 7am to 7pm. This activity aims to enable Natacha to participate in the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Natalia's goal is to raise $90,000 for the summer of 2024.
A $10,000 bursary has just arrived
The young woman received some excellent news on September 15: she has been awarded a $10,000 Face from Pétro-Canada bursary to help her on her journey with her coach Étienne Bergeron.
The Petro-Canada Face program has selected 55 promising athletes and their coaches, and awarded them bursaries to help them achieve success.
The funds are generally used to cover expenses related to equipment, coach training and travel to competitions.

Fund-raisers can reserve a court for $100/hour or cardio tennis for $30/hour on September 23 and 24. Natalia will also be offering exhibition matches on both days.

Natalia is also organizing a Gofundme event to raise funds for her and her coach to participate in the various events leading up to the 2024 Paralympics. You can visit her gofundme.com link to contribute. Her goal is to reach $10,000, even if it means doing it in increments to reach the ultimate goal of $90,000.
The goal of the Face program is to provide grants to athletes at a time when they need them most - when they're trying to earn a place on the Canadian Olympic or Paralympic team, but aren't yet eligible for government subsidies.
