Weekends come and go. Once again, overnight closures are scheduled at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, on Highway 40 West, starting September 22.

The work is necessary to continue repairs to the Rue des Pins overpass. 

Consequently, there will be an overnight closure between Exit 41 and boulevard des Anciens-Combattants, according to the following schedule: 

• Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m;
• Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m;
• Sunday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

A detour via the service road will be in place. The westbound entrance to Autoroute 40 under Rue des Pins will be closed by default.

Although these closures will be carried out at night, episodes of congestion are to be expected. The Ministry advises road users who will have to travel in the area to allow extra time to reach their destination.

Finally, rue des Pins is completely closed between rue Poultry Cottages and chemin Sainte-Marie, until November.

A detour via Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants for all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists has been put in place.

Only local traffic is permitted between rue Euclide-Lavigne and chemin Sainte-Marie.
