To better serve the population
New opening hours for the Coteaux library from the end of October
As of Monday October 30, the Lucile C. - Sauvé Library will see its opening hours modified to better meet the needs of the population. The municipal council approved this schedule change at its regular meeting on Monday, September 18.
As of this date, citizens with or without a subscription to the facility will be able to visit it at the following times:
Monday: CLOSED;
Tuesday: 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m;
Wednesday: 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m;
Thursday: 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm;
Friday: 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m;
Saturday: 10am to 3:30pm;
Sunday: CLOSED.
In the resolution adopted, the Municipality of Les Coteaux states that the municipal library plays an essential role in community life. It provides citizens of all ages with invaluable access to knowledge, culture and education.
Following a survey recently carried out by the Municipality, the following conclusion was reached: there is a consensus in favour of modifying opening hours to better serve users of this cultural facility.
The decision was also based on a comparative analysis of the opening hours of other municipal libraries similar to Les Coteaux, explained Pamela Nantel, the local general manager, at the meeting.
