Ville de Rigaud invites interested citizens to a public consultation meeting on construction, permits and certificates. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 27 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of the town hall (106, rue Saint-Viateur).

The meeting is open to anyone interested in draft by-law number 274-05-2023 amending replacement by-law number 274-2010 relating to construction and its amendments in order to :

- Remove the application of any compendium of construction standards from the construction by-law.

We will also discuss draft by-law number 276-08-2023 amending replacement by-law number 276-2010 relating to permits and certificates and its amendments in order to:

- Require plans and specifications signed and sealed by a competent professional in the field, member of its Order, for all uses;

- Specify additional information for building permit and certificate of authorization applications;

During this public meeting, the mayor or a person designated by her will explain the draft by-law and the consequences of its adoption, and will hear individuals and organizations wishing to express their views on these projects.
