Fire hydrant inspection starts this Wednesday in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot

The town of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot wishes to inform its residents that from Wednesday, September 20 to October 6, it will be checking fire hydrants. The work will be carried out Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Residents can consult the City's Facebook page to find out which areas are affected on a daily basis.

During these periods, certain precautions must be taken (clear water supply, washing, etc.) as the work may cause a slight drop in pressure, accompanied by a reddish discoloration of the water (rust).

If this occurs, we recommend opening the cold water taps and letting the water run until it becomes colorless.
