At around 7:15 p.m. today, an SUV and a passenger vehicle collided head-on at the corner of chemin Saint-Philippe and rue Principale in Rivière-Beaudette, with at least 2 passengers in one vehicle and 3 in the other.

Three young children were seen by paramedics from both vehicles, and at least one man was stretchered off to hospital.

According to Neomedia's sources, there were no serious injuries, no lives in danger and at one stage, everyone was standing.

Rivière-Beaudette firefighters and first responders and Sûreté du Québec police also responded, in addition to paramedics.
