Coteau-du-Lac Maxi to open in October

According to the latest information from Loblaw, the Coteau-du-Lac Maxi supermarket is scheduled to open in October. Work to convert the former Provigo to its new colors is well underway. 

"It's too early to confirm the official opening date, but the work to completely revamp the store is on schedule, and the opening should take place in October. At the end of September, we'll be holding a major hiring event to recruit the final members of our team," explains Geneviève Poirier, the company's communications manager. 

The big hiring event is scheduled for September 27 from 1:30 to 7 p.m. in the basement of Pavillin Wilson, located at 4 rue Principale in Coteau-du-Lac. "We have nearly 25 positions to fill on Store Manager Simon Legault's team, in preparation for the upcoming conversion and opening.  Positions are available in all departments: clerks, cashiers, assistant managers and managers.   Interested parties can drop in without an appointment, at a time of their choosing, to meet the recruitment coordinators," she concludes.
