Residents of Vaudreuil-Soulanges and surrounding areas who have to travel to the metropolis this weekend will once again have to be patient. Over the next few hours, the regional road network will be subject to major obstructions. 

The Ministry and its partners are advising road users to plan ahead. Here are the roadblocks to be expected this weekend in the region:

Highway 40: 

In Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, complete closure of the A-40 westbound, between exit 41 (boulevard des Anciens-Combattants, A-20 west) and the next entrance. Closures will be in effect according to the schedule below.

- Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m; 
- Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m; 
- Sunday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m; 

Detour: service road.

Default closure: entrance at Chemin des Pins.

Pont Serge-Marcil / Highway 30: 

- Between Les Cèdres and Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, complete closure of the Serge-Marcil bridge eastbound, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day; 

Detour: upstream of the bridge, via Exit 9, R-338 west, R-201 south and A-530.

Note: partial closure (1 lane out of 2) on the bridge, Saturday and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, closures may be cancelled or modified.
