The fire departement Pincourt/ Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot hosts a unique specialized training course
The fire departement Pincourt/ Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot hosted a very special training course this weekend. In all, some 50 firefighters from Vaudreuil-Soulanges and beyond took part on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Pincourt snow dump, just a stone's throw from the fire station.
Coteau-du-Lac to spend $235,530 on 3,000 brown bins
At their regular meeting on Tuesday, August 8, Coteau-du-Lac's elected officials ratified the purchase of approximately 3,000 240-litre brown wheeled bins for a maximum amount of $235,530.
Supporting Dek Hockey and its athletes one sip at a time
Entrepreneurs from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region join forces to get young and old moving. Last August, the Association de Hockey Balle du Suroît (AHBDS) and the Association de Hockey Balle du Suroît Junior launched BLAST, a logo, an image and a sense of pride.

Vaudreuil-Dorion Walmart evacuated while police intervention
At around 5 p.m. last Monday, the Sûreté du Québec intervened at the Walmart superstore on boulevard de la Gare, in Vaudreuil-Dorion, in response to a call reporting the presence of a suspicious individual inside the store. The intervention required evacuation of the store.
Saint-Clet adopts a revised version of its municipal family policy
On August 26, Saint-Clet's elected officials unveiled a new version of the municipal family policy. The document, which first saw the light of day in 2013, has undergone a facelift in recent months, and the revamped version now includes some twenty objectives and forty actions.

Mélissa Cuillerier, a nursing assistant who worked for the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO), has pleaded guilty to charges of fraud. The accused, a single mother, launched a social networking campaign to raise $5,000.
Upcoming by-election in Coteau-du-Lac
Residents of Coteau-du-Lac's District 3 will be going to the polls in the coming months. At the end of the regular meeting on Tuesday, September 12, municipal councillor David-Lee Amos tendered his resignation, effective immediately.
Saint-Clet welcomes its first community fridge
For the past few weeks, the Municipality of Saint-Clet has been home to a community fridge, a project set up by the organization Les Garde-Mangers Partagés de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The fridge is located on the balcony of the church at 615 Route 201.
Pincourt: Natalia is Canada's top Paralympic tennis athlete
Born in Poland, she developed cancer at the age of 7, which took 4 years to cure. She immigrated to Canada when she was 12. Today, Natalia Lanucha, from Pincourt, speaks perfect French, holds two bachelor's degrees, is starting a master's degree in psycho-education and is Canada's top wheelchair tennis athlete. What an inspiring career!
Justin Lafleur ends BMX season on a high note
Coteaulac's Justin Lafleur, 12, rounded off his 2022-2023 season in fine style when he took part in the Coupe Québec on September 9 and 10. The young athlete and BMX enthusiast finished on the top step of the podium in his category, in addition to placing in the top 3 of the season's final cumulative rankings. This autumn, the Municipality of Les Coteaux will be planting 260 native trees in its parks, helping to preserve its environment and replace trees felled that were diseased or dead due to the emerald ash borer epidemic.

2023 Canadian pair champions Deanna Stellato-Dudek of Chicago, USA and Maxime Deschamps of Vaudreuil-Dorian, Que., dominated the first night of competition on Thursday at the 2023 Autumn Classic International taking place in Pierrefonds, Que., finishing their short program more than 12 points ahead of the reigning world champions from Japan with a score of 71.90.

The elected officials of the City of Coteau-du-Lac want to limit parking to a maximum of 90 minutes in two sectors of its territory. At least, that's what they hinted at at the regular meeting held on Tuesday, September 12, in a notice of motion tabled to this effect.
