Late September
The Treasure Hunt returns to Vaudreuil-Dorion
On September 30 and October 1, Vaudreuil-Dorion residents wishing to dispose of certain items will be able to drop them off at the curbside, starting at 8 am. This year, no registration with the city is required. All participants have to do is place a sign saying "To give" next to their items.
On a first-come, first-served basis, interested parties will be able to take possession of these treasures, free of charge. Please note that all items not collected over the weekend must be picked up by 9 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Hazardous household waste and unprotected sharps will not be accepted at this event, which will take place rain or shine.
To dispose of unclaimed items, please consult the Tricycle online search tool or the recyclers' directory.
The treasure hunt is in line with the 3RV principle (reduction at source, reuse, recycling and recovery). It helps to extend the lifespan of objects, limit the production of new products and prevent the landfilling of materials that are still in good condition.
