If August 12 is now known in Quebec as "Journée j'achète un livre québécois", September 12 is known as Quebec Wine Drinking Day.

For almost 10 years now, Quebec winemakers have been inviting the public to discover or rediscover their proudly Quebec-produced products.

The Vaudreuil-Soulanges region has nothing to envy the rest of the province when it comes to wine production. Four winemakers have chosen the land of Vaudreuil-Soulanges to produce wines with regional colors and flavors.

Here's a glimpse of our vineyards.

The reputation of Vignoble de Pomone wines, located in Coteau-du-Lac, is well established.

Located in the former Champlain seas, the 16-hectare estate produces top-quality wines that have won several awards at the Coupe des Nations du Québec. In fact, its UNI 2021 wine was named best Quebec wine at the most recent Coupe des Nations.

You'll find 28 grape varieties making up 15 different products.

Established in 2006 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Vignoble Côte de Vaudreuil was born of a passion for the region and for grapes. Located in a bucolic setting where over 20,000 vines rub shoulders with nature and art on a daily basis, Côte de Vaudreuil is literally an open-air museum. White, red, sparkling, fortified, in short, there's something for everyone.

Located in Les Cèdres, Le Vignoble d'Ovila was born of a history that goes back to 1939. There are some 9,500 vines planted in six grape varieties.

On-site tastings of wine, field and greenhouse products and vineyard tours are available.

Finally, still in Les Cèdres, between the St. Lawrence River and the Soulanges Canal, Le Bourg des Cèdres is a nod to the region's history. Several of its products have won awards at the Coupe des Nations du Québec.

Each of Le Bourg des Cèdres' wines bears a name that refers to a place or historical event in the region. These include Catherine Trestler, Écluse no. 4, La Pointe-du-Moulin, Les Cageux and Joseph Lalonde.

The privileged location of the land allows the cultivation of some seven grape varieties.
