Go to the bank now, get out your cash, and buy your bags of apples (for as little as $5 a bag) from the valiant Knights of Columbus of Rigaud Council 2881. They'll be in "drive-thru" mode this Saturday morning, September 9, at the corner of Saint-Viateur, Saint-Pierre and Saint-Jean-Baptiste West in Rigaud.
It's their Christmas tree fundraiser.
Think of your favorite recipes: apple pies, apple crispies, pommes d'amour, apple squares, apple chips, or just plain apples, and help turn apples into gifts.
Your donations will be used for the very popular Christmas tree-stripping for the little ones, scheduled for Saturday, December 16 in the gymnasium of the Collège Bourget sports complex.
1 bag of apples for $5... that's still cheaper than a submarine!
