Eastbound Autoroute 40 at kilometer 33, before the Autoroute 30 ramp, is blocked by one lane at the time of writing this Thursday, September 7. The Sûreté du Québec has confirmed that a at least two-vehicle accident has occurred. 

According to preliminary information gathered from the police force, one of the two motorists collided with a guardrail. The center lane is blocked by the presence of the Sûreté du Québec, paramedics, firefighters and the Ministère des Transports. 

The victim's life is not feared, but he is suffering from chest injuries due to the airbag that deployed on impact.
