The Festival de la soupe de Vaudreuil-Soulanges will take place this Sunday September 10 at the Parc historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin in Notre-Dame-de-L'Île-Perrot. Registration is now full: 40 tureens will be serving up this traditional comfort food!
The highlight of the Festival is the famous soup competition, a dish common to every continent. Professionals and amateurs alike are invited to concoct THE soup that will be judged the best by popular vote, and win the Louche d'Or.
The Louche d'Or competition takes place in the vast setting of the historic park. Not only is this a fitting site, as part of the cultural heritage of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, but it also makes it possible to hold the event rain or shine.
Admission is free for all! The festival begins at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 16:00 p.m.
