A line-up of artists will take to the stage at Parc des Générations on boulevard Perrot in L'Île-Perrot for the VIP en Blues festival on Saturday, September 16.

"It's going to be a good edition," L'Île-Perrot mayor Pierre Séguin told Néomédia after the press conference held in August to announce the event, which is billed as the municipality's biggest.

"It's free and what's nice is that we're doing something for the kids too. The event starts at 3 p.m. and all the real blues specialists will be there," he added.

The gourmet street with food and drinks sold on site will open at the same time, with 12 local restaurateurs ready to prepare decadent dishes from the four corners of the globe.

Colorful performers will also be strolling through the park, so get ready to meet some famous and amusing characters.
