This autumn, residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion aged 50 and over are invited to take part in four free artistic workshops!

By registering, participants agree to attend all four workshops. Workshops run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Croisée building (1255, rue Émile-Bouchard). A closing event will also be held on Saturday, November 4, starting at 10 a.m.

Here are the four workshops taking place: 

Wednesday, October 4: 

Autumn floral arrangements with Fleuriste Vert Design
Workshop to create an autumn floral centerpiece. Techniques for cutting, mounting and caring for flowers.

Wednesday, october 11: 

Latin dance class with Baila productions
Introduction to Latin dance. No experience or partner required. Salsa, merengue, cha cha cha and bachata taught in such simple terms that you'll be dancing on the spot! Initiation followed by a period of free dancing.

Wednesday, October 18: 

Mobile shaping workshop with À fleur de terre
Learn to use colombin, pinched pot and soft plate. Includes: clay for all participants, underglazes, workshop work required for two piece firings.

Wednesday, October 25th: 

Mosaic workshop with Monica Brinkman. Creation of a mosaic pot for a plant.All materials provided.

Saturday, November 4: 

Cultural Passport and Travel Project closing event
Grab your passport and travel to an African country in collaboration with APOAC. Conference, dance and food.
