Rinsing the water system this Tuesday in Pincourt

The Town of Pincourt wishes to inform its residents that it will begin the unidirectional flushing of its water system this Tuesday, September 5. The purpose of this operation is to dislodge deposits in the water mains and ensure water quality throughout the network.

This maintenance operation will last approximately eight weeks. Work will be carried out between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

The following inconveniences are to be expected: 

- Reduced water pressure;
- Water discoloration.

Here are a few tips for interested parties to apply during the rinsing process: 

- Check the color of your cold water before use;
- Avoid washing during rinse hours;
- Let the cold water run until it runs clear. Repeat with all plumbing in your home;

Disadvantages should go away on their own after rinsing. Water remains po table despite possible discoloration.
