Labour Day: reminder of businesses open or closed

This Monday, September 4, many Quebecers have the day off for Labor Day. Being a statutory holiday in Quebec, many businesses and services close their doors on this day. 

To help you avoid banging your nose against a closed door, Neomedia presents a non-exhaustive list of what's open and what's closed:

Convenience stores and tobacconists
Gas stations
Bookstores
Restaurants
Some pharmacies
Only SAQ Express stores will be open during regular business hours.

Closed

Grocery stores;
Shopping malls;
Canada Post offices (no mail delivery);
Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) offices;
Passport Canada offices;
Banks/Caisses;
Government and municipal offices;
Libraries.

CISSSMO changes its opening hours
