Highway 40 closed for the night

The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is informing road users that new night-time closures are planned on Highway 40 West, at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, over the Labor Day weekend.

These closures are necessary to continue repair work on the Rue des Pins overpass in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

Traffic obstruction and management

Complete night closures between Exit No. 41 - Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue / Boul. des Anciens-Combattants / A-20 OUEST / Île Perrot and the entrance from boulevard des Anciens-Combattants according to the following schedule:

• Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m;
• Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m;
• Sunday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

The detour will be via the service road.

The Highway 40 WEST entrance under Rue des Pins will be closed by default.

Although these closures will be carried out at night, episodes of congestion are to be expected. The Ministry advises road users who will have to travel in the area to allow extra time to reach their destination.

Reminder - rue des Pins

Rue des Pins is completely closed between Poultry Cottages and Chemin Sainte-Marie until November.

A detour via Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants for all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists has been put in place.

Only local traffic is permitted between rue Euclide-Lavigne and chemin Sainte-Marie.
