Religious Heritage Days: two places to discover in Vaudreuil-Soulanges
The Conseil du patrimoine religieux du Québec (CPRQ) recently unveiled the 2023 program for the Journées du patrimoine religieux, to be held on September 8, 9 and 10. Many of the region's buildings will be featured.
As in previous years, the Journées du patrimoine religieux will feature tours, concerts, lectures, exhibitions and guided tours. All these activities are free, and provide an opportunity to rediscover some of Quebec's oldest heritage sites.
Once again this year, the Montérégie region takes pride of place in the program. In all, 44 sites and tours are included in the regional program. And many of the 2 sites to be visited are in Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
Here are the churches to discover this weekend:
- Église Sainte-Jeanne-de-Chantal in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot;
- Église Saint-Joseph de Soulanges in Les Cèdres;
