Lippé/Sauvé intersection
Work and boil water advisory in Les Coteaux this Thursday
Excavation work will begin on Thursday August 24 at the Lippé/Sauvé intersection in Les Coteaux. The Municipality advises its citizens that it will be impossible to use the river bridge at this time. Work on the section between Lippé and Rémillard is expected to last until September 20.
Residences north of the river will experience a water cut this Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. approximately. This interruption will be followed by a precautionary boil-water advisory. An automated message has been sent to residents.
As of September 21, Sauvé Street will be closed between Mercier and Daoust streets, except for authorized local traffic. Access to rue Daoust will be maintained throughout the work.
Patience and understanding will be required in the area. Residents and motorists are encouraged to exercise courtesy and patience throughout the work.
In addition to civil engineering work, work on a private lot bordering Sauvé Street will result in heavy vehicle traffic.
