According to the schedule recently shared with the Ville de Rigaud, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) plans to begin planing part of chemin Saint-François Sud (upstream from chemin Chevrier to rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste Ouest) around August 23, with a view to subsequent paving.

In this context, the Town wishes to take advantage of the opportunity to proceed with the complete repair of sidewalks and curbs, particularly those present at the corner of chemin Saint-François and rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste Ouest.

The work :

- Will begin on Tuesday, August 22;

- For a period of approximately 7 days (the time required for excavation, formwork, concrete pouring and curing);

- Between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m; 

- Traffic will alternate on one lane in the presence of flagmen. 

Occupants living opposite curbs and sidewalks will not have access to their private parking lot for approximately 7 days (affected occupants have received a door hanger). 

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, this work may be postponed or extended.
