For many, the arrival of August is synonymous with corn husking. In the past, corn husking was a chore carried out in villages at the end of summer, to avoid wasting the harvest and prepare the corn that would be stored all year round. Today, corn husking is simply an excuse to get together with family and friends and celebrate!
