This debt is financed by grants, an available balance, restricted surplus and sector taxes for $11,259,899 and general taxation for $16,987,601.As elsewhere in Quebec, the scarcity of manpower has forced the various municipal departments to modify their way of doing things, while maintaining the same level of service to citizens. "I would also like to congratulate all our employees, who have managed to maintain excellent service to the population, despite reduced staffing levels in many of our departments.I'm very proud of our entire team, and we will continue to develop the town while ensuring that we remain in good financial health," emphasizes Claude Comeau, Mayor of Pincourt.
He continues. "As mentioned last year, we promised to deliver great projects for the community, and we kept our word by delivering the pickleball courts and the P-Town Plaza youth project (skateboard park and our roller track). Next year, we'll be working hard again to deliver new projects, in particular the basketball courts that have been in demand for many years," he concludes.
