At around 1:30pm, a semi-trailer was involved in a road accident on 69th Avenue opposite the Saint-Zotique fire station. 

According to our information, the 53-foot truck was leaving a private driveway belonging to a business on 69th Avenue. The truck driver is said to have performed a manoeuvre that caused the rear of the truck to overturn in a nearby ditch. 

Sûreté du Québec spokeswoman Valérie Beauchamp confirms that the incident was minor and caused no injuries. 

At the time of writing, 69th Avenue was completely closed to traffic between Autoroute 20 and Rue Principale to allow the towing operation to be completed. The closure could last at least an hour.
