Three friends from Vaudreuil-Soulanges go on Trek Rose Trip Morocco adventure
From October 31 to November 5, 2023, three friends from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region will be taking part in the Rose Trip adventure, a 100% women's orienteering trek in Morocco. To finance this major project, the trio will be holding a fundraising event on August 17 at Vignoble Le Bourg des Cèdres.
The women will launch a bottle of wine christened Rose Bohème (evoking the name of their team) during a 5 à 7 activity. On-site guests will be able to taste the wine, as well as purchase one or more bottles to support Chantal Allard (4 sur la route), Marie-Claude Daoust (Créations Zö) and Roxanne Cloutier in their challenge.
The evening will also feature a mega-contest, a door prize draw and plant sales. Appetizers will also be on the menu.
Why is the trio embarking on this adventure? "Our Rose Bohème team wants to raise funds to take part in the adventure and support the fight against cancer. We'll be helping two associations: Ruban Rose and Enfants du désert," says the press release.
During the evening, interested parties will be able to taste Rose Bohème wine for $4 a glass, or purchase a bottle in exchange for a $30 donation. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Trek.
Bites will be provided by Deux grains au moulin. A ticket sale will also be held for a chance to win one of 5 prizes donated by various local businesses.
