Call for projects for artists and arts organizations in the Montérégie-Ouest region
The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and numerous partners, including the Beauharnois-Salaberry and Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRCs, are launching the first call for projects under the Montérégie-Ouest Territorial Partnership Program.
The Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the Table de concertation régionale de la Montérégie, in collaboration with Culture Montérégie, are also involved in this initiative.
This call is part of the Entente de partenariat territorial pour les arts et les lettres en Montérégie. Artists, professional writers and organizations whose main address is within the territory of one of the partners in the Montérégie-Ouest sector have until November 2 to submit their projects to CALQ.

Support for artists and organizations
As part of the call for projects, professional artists and writers, as well as arts organizations, can count on the advisory services of Culture Montérégie to help them prepare their applications.
Those wishing to submit a project are invited to contact Jacinthe Ducas, Development Officer at Culture Montérégie, to check their eligibility and ensure that their project meets the objectives and conditions of the program, or to obtain guidance in preparing their application. Consulting services are free and open to all.

Dates and locations of information sessions
Culture Montérégie will be offering information sessions, on a web platform, to present the program and answer questions from artists, writers and organization representatives.
For organizations :
- Wednesday, August 16 at 3 p.m.
- Thursday, September 14 at 1 p.m.
For artists :
- Tuesday, August 22 at 12 h (noon)
- Wednesday, September 13 at 7 p.m.

About the Montérégie-Ouest Territorial Partnership Program
This program is the result of a three-year agreement between the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l'Habitation, the MRCs of Acton, Beauharnois-Salaberry, Haut-Richelieu, Haut-Saint-Laurent, Jardins-de-Napierville, Marguerite-D'Youville, des Maskoutains, Pierre-De Saurel, Roussillon, Rouville, La Vallée-du-Richelieu and Vaudreuil-Soulanges*, the Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the Ville de Longueuil and the Table de concertation régionale de la Montérégie, in collaboration with Culture Montérégie. Its objectives are to :
- stimulate artistic creation in Montérégie ;
- contribute to the development and dissemination of artists and writers;
- encourage their retention in their locality;
- encourage the emergence and inclusion of digital technologies in artistic practice;
- support professional arts organizations that contribute to the development and influence of the arts and literature, both locally and abroad.
Projects must involve partnership initiatives with the community or local stakeholders.
Please note that for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC, only artists, writers or organizations from the following municipalities may submit a project: Coteau-du-Lac, Pincourt, Saint-Polycarpe, Hudson, Pointe-des-Cascades, Saint-Zotique, L'Île-Cadieux, Pointe-Fortune, Sainte-Marthe, L'Île-Perrot, Rigaud, Terrasse-Vaudreuil, Les Cèdres, Rivière-Beaudette, Très-Saint-Rédempteur, Les Coteaux, Saint-Clet, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Saint-Lazare, Saint-Télesphore.
Submitting artists, writers and arts organizations are invited to adopt an inclusive vision by considering people from minority backgrounds, such as members of cultural communities, Aboriginals and people with disabilities, in the development of their project.
