Work begins on August 14
Expansion work at the Vaudreuil-Dorion ecocenter
The Réseau des écocentres de la MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges will soon be expanding its Vaudreuil-Dorion ecocenter.
Work will start on August 14 and will take about six weeks to complete. The ecocenter will remain open during the work.
The work will involve the creation of three new unloading docks and the expansion of the upper platform. It will be carried out in complete safety for visitors but may result in a slowdown in service.
Please note that certain materials will not be accepted during the construction period for logistical reasons. These are :
- Household hazardous waste (cylinders, oils, chemicals, etc.);
--> Accepted at the ecocentres in Rigaud and Saint-Zotique;
- Paint, light bulbs, batteries (batteries, varnish, mercury lamps, etc.)
---> Accepted at ecocentres in Rigaud, Saint-Zotique and Pincourt;
To dispose of these materials and avoid longer-than-usual waiting times, users are invited to visit the network's other ecocentres in Rigaud, Saint-Zotique and Pincourt.
The MRC reminds us that all citizens of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region can benefit from the services of the network's four ecocentres. For a list of materials accepted, or for more information on the ecocenter network, visit www.tricycle-mrcvs.ca or call 450-455-5434.
