Closure of Highway 40 planned at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable will begin a final phase of work to repair the Chemin des Pins overpass over Highway 40 in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue on August 7.
The work will continue until November. The bridge will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the work.
Complete night and weekend closures of Highway 40 are also expected.
Impediments and traffic management
Chemin des Pins
Complete long-term closure between rue Poultry Cottages and chemin Sainte-Marie, from 6 p.m. on August 6, 2023, until November.
Detour via Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants for all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
Local traffic allowed between rue Euclide-Lavigne and chemin Sainte-Marie.
Highway 40 (Félix-Leclerc)
Partial or complete closures at night and on weekends, in either direction.
During complete closures, traffic will be diverted onto service roads.
A complete closure is scheduled for the weekend of August 11, 2023, in the westbound direction. This closure will be confirmed in the coming days.
Complete closures of the service lanes of Autoroute 40, in either direction, will also be required at night, on both sides of the construction site.
During complete closures, traffic will be diverted onto the highway.
