Guided tour of the Quinchien River this Saturday in Saint-Lazare
This Saturday, August 5, COBAVER-VS and Nature-Action Québec are offering interested parties an educational walk to learn more about the little river that flows through the region. The activity will start at the intersection of Saint-Louis and Chaline streets, in Saint-Lazare.
Did you know that the Quinchien River is home to over 15 species of fish, and that it runs for over 30 km from Saint-Lazare, through Les Cèdres, to Vaudreuil-Dorion? This activity is designed to help you learn more about this important waterway.
The discovery activity will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., during which participants will learn more about the river's ecosystem and watershed. Participants will also learn how to improve overall river health!
