As part of the Journées de la culture 2023, the Municipalité des Coteaux is announcing a call for artist submissions for a visual arts exhibition at the Édifice culturel Laurier-Léger. This exhibition will mark the launch of the fall 2023 programming and will run from September 15, 2023 to January 10, 2024.

Under the inspiring theme of « La collectivité », the Municipalité des Coteaux is looking for a visual artist or artists' collective residing in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. The aim is to capture the strength and unity of the community through engaging works of art.

The Municipalité des Coteaux is committed to supporting the selected artists with a $500 contribution to the project. In addition, the exhibition will be promoted via the Municipality's communication networks, including social networks, posters and the municipal publication.

Interested artists are invited to submit an application including :

• A detailed artistic CV;
• An artistic approach illustrating their commitment to the theme;
• 5 to 7 photos of their work, accompanied by a description (various formats and styles accepted);
• A website or Facebook page, if applicable.

The deadline for submissions is August 20, 2023. The Culture and Toponymy Committee will render its decision no later than August 28, 2023. All artists will be contacted once the selection has been made.
