Enracinement / Déracinement
Artists from Vaudreuil-Soulanges exhibit in Montreal
The group exhibition Enracinement / Déracinement runs from August 3 to August 26 at Galerie Coups de pinceaux coups de ciseaux, 4603 boulevard St-Laurent, Montreal. Five of the artists exhibiting are from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area : Caroline Forget, Fabienne Legrand, Natacha Marleau, Marie-Soleil Poliquin and exhibition curator Émilie Léger.
The public is invited to meet the participating artists at an on-site vernissage on August 3 from 5 to 7 pm.
Part of the proceeds from sales at this exhibition go to the non-profit organization Coups de pinceaux coups de ciseaux.
The organization's mission is to provide haircuts to people in need, and to raise awareness of mental health issues. Haircuts are a small gesture, but the impact on people is greater than we think.
A virtual exhibition will be set up for the duration of the show on the https://coupsdepinceauxcoupsdeciseaux.com/ website.
The other artists exhibiting at Enracinement / Déracinement are: Yannick Daudelin, Louise-Josée Gauthier, Christine Hamel, Marc-André Huot, Martin Lacasse, Véronique Lagrange, Jean-Philippe Laguë, Gabrielle Lalonde, Mélanie Leduc, Virginie Maltais, Annyck Martin, Dan Toupin and Jean-Guy Turgeon.
