2.4 million for interior makeover of Jean-Marc-Ducharme community center

A total of $2,440,000 will be invested in the complete interior refurbishment of the Centre communautaire Jean-Marc-Ducharme in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Located on rue Louise-Josephte, the community center will undergo major renovations scheduled for completion in spring 2024.

The work has been entrusted to Construction Emery Paquette inc. of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Inaugurated in November 2015, the Jean-Marc-Ducharme community center was home for many years to the former Service des loisirs et de l'action communautaire, now housed in the Centre Multisports and renamed Service des loisirs et de la culture.
