This week, the Town of Pincourt launches its pilot project to study the impact of a lane modification, more specifically on Cardinal-Léger Boulevard, southbound, between 6th and 8th Avenues.

The main objective is to analyze the impact of removing a lane in the area. The aim of this operation is to prevent vehicles from facing the entrance to the bicycle path that starts on 8th Avenue, thereby improving safety for all users.

This study will provide invaluable information for the development of new road infrastructure between 5th Avenue and 8th Avenue, in order to study the opportunity of reinforcing the connectivity of the bike path on Cardinal-Léger.

The project will run until next October.
