As part of the Les rythmes d'été concert series
A look back at Luce Dufault's concert in Vaudreuil-Dorion
On Tuesday, July 11, hundreds of residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion and surrounding areas flocked to the Parc de la Maison-Valois for the first evening of the Les rythmes d'été outdoor concert series. Singer Luce Dufault, well known for her many hits, launched the 2023 edition of the activity organized by the city.
The show took place at the Agora in Parc de la Maison-Valois at 7:30pm. The singer-songwriter was on hand in the wake of the release of her new album, Dire combien je t'aime. Over the course of the evening, she revisited many of her hits.
The atmosphere was intimate, despite the presence of hundreds of spectators, which helped to highlight the full richness of her talent. Accompanied by three musicians, she let her unique voice shine on the highlights of her repertoire, as well as songs from her new album.
An exceptional artist, it has already been written that she belongs to the breed of major female performers, performers who last, performers on whom musicians and poets can count to see their works transcend.
In the weeks to come, Rythmes d'été will welcome :
- July 18 Brian Tyler and the Bluestorm Back on track;
- July 25 Véronique Labbé Honky Tonk Bar;
- August 1 Ludovick Bourgeois;- August 8 De Temps Antan Pesant;
- August 15 Kim Richardson Motown Soul;
- August 22 Martin Giroux Hommage à Richard Desjardins show scheduled as part of MOSA.
