For the 18th edition of the Comité Zip du Haut-Saint-Laurent, the family kayak rally takes place at the Nautical Centre of the Parc historique de la Pointe-du-Moulin in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, on Sunday, July 9, from 11 am to 3 pm.

This rally allows local families to discover the flora and fauna associated with the St. Lawrence ecosystem by taking them on an exploratory kayak tour.

In addition to exploring the beauty of the surrounding nature, participants will also have the chance to paddle and enjoy the joys of kayaking for free along the way. Here are a few details:

• The activity is free and open to all residents of the region;
• To participate, simply come to the Haut-Saint-Laurent ZIP Committee kiosk at the Centre nautique on the day of the activity, to rent a non-motorized boat free of charge;
• Younger participants must be able to wear a personal flotation device. Please note that it is the responsibility of parents to ensure their children's safety once on the water. 
• Each person who completes the rally will have a chance to win a prize, which will be drawn at the end of the day. Over $500 in prizes will be awarded during the day!
• A great way to get moving while discovering the St. Lawrence River and its riches!

The Haut Saint-Laurent ZIP Committee is holding its 18th edition of summer activities, and will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!
