Car engulfed in flames on autoroute 20

At around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, a car caught fire on the right-hand shoulder of the westbound lane of Highway 20, at kilometer 27.5 in Les Cèdres. 

At the time of writing, the cause of the blaze had not been determined and few details were available. 

However, Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Valérie Beauchamp has confirmed a few details. "The occupants of the vehicle were able to extricate themselves from the burning car. No injuries were reported and Cedars firefighters were on site to extinguish the blaze."
