The outdoor workspaces were very popular in 2022. The Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion will once again be making them available to citizens for the summer. Available now, they are located at the library, Parc Le 405 and Parc de Bel-Air, with Wi-Fi and electricity.
Interested parties will be able to work or study in the fresh air. There's something new this year: the station at Parc de la Maison-Valois has been moved to Parc de Bel-Air.
"Following comments received requesting an outdoor workspace in the Dorion sector, we decided to relocate one of our stations to Parc de Bel-Air," explains Josianne Lafontaine, Section Manager - Logistics.
Each station includes: a table seating up to four people, free Wi-Fi until October 15, electrical outlets and USB port sockets. The password to connect to the wireless network is indicated inside the structure.
No reservation is required, and people can set up on a first-come, first-served basis. It's worth remembering that this idea of open-air workspaces gained ground during the pandemic, with the advent of telework.
