Due to weather conditions
Hudson cancels Canada Day celebrations
To no one's great surprise, the Town of Hudson has confirmed in the last few minutes the cancellation of the Canada Day festivities scheduled for this evening on its territory. The voices of Kim Richardson, Jonas and Marie-Pierre Leduc were to have been heard in Jack-Layton Park.
However, it was around 6 p.m. that the municipal administration posted this message on its Facebook page:
"Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we have cancelled tonight's event. We are, however, looking into the possibility of rescheduling."
In a second post, the City adds:
"Thank you to the Recreation Department staff who worked hard to organize this event, as well as to the vendors, technical staff, musicians' public works crews and administrative staff who made a tremendous effort."
