Like every year, many businesses and institutions will be closed this Saturday for Canada Day. 

And since July 1 falls on a Saturday, some establishments open on weekends may choose to close on Monday, July 3. It's best to check before you go.

That said, here's the list of businesses and establishments that will be open and closed this Saturday.

• Pharmacies (with exceptions)
• Restaurants and bars

• SAQ branches (except those located in shopping malls)

Closed

• Banks and cash registers (closed July 1 and 3, 2023)
• SAAQ service centers
• Retail stores
• Canada Post (closed July 1 and 3, 2023)
• SQDC branches
