Canada Day in Hudson with Peter Schiefke and Kim Richardson
On Saturday, July 1, the Town of Hudson invites its residents and those in the surrounding area to take part in a fun and festive evening to celebrate Canada Day, starting at 6:30 p.m. in Jack Layton Park.
The event will feature Canadian artists Jonas Tomalty, Kim Richardson and Marie-Pierre Leduc, plus local merchants and, of course, fireworks!
The festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m., and at 7 p.m. MP Peter Schiefke and Mayor Chloe Hutchison will be on hand to raise the Canadian flag. Cupcakes will be served afterwards! First come, first served
Starting at 8 p.m., artists Jonas Tomalty, Kim Richardson and Marie-Pierre Leduc will invite participants to sing and dance. They'll end their musical performance with the fireworks countdown!
The artists will also offer a signing session for all.
Evening schedule :
- 6:30 p.m. Site opening, booths, obstacle course and fire truck tour
- 7 p.m. Speeches, flag-raising and O Canada
- 7:15 p.m. Cupcakes
- 8 p.m. Show by Jonas Tomalty, Kim Richardson and Marie-Pierre Leduc
- 10 pm Fireworks
- 10:20 pm Signing session with the artists
The park is located at 392 Halcro Street in Hudson.
