Pincourt is inviting individuals and groups of artists to submit their proposals for a major mural artwork project to help beautify the city.

The goal is twofold - to showcase the city's culture, values and vision and to give artists a chance to showcase their skills and talents with involvement from the community. The artwork must conform to the size of the allotted mural space.

Applicants must provide an up-to-date curriculum vitae or art portfolio, a digital image (sketch) of the proposal, a short written description, a title, material and techniques that will be used and a description of how the public can participate. 

All details must be submitted by e-mail to [email protected] by the deadline, June 25, 11:59 p.m..

After the proposals are reviewed, the selected artist will be contacted to complete the final version with or without modifications. The meeting to launch the project will take place in July.

The mural project proposal was created as part of a partnership agreement between the town and Ministère de la Culture et des Communications.
