Be the first to experience the new Wedding Bells exhibit at the Greenwood Centre for Living History starting June 11 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The house is located at 245 Main Street in Hudson and admission is free that day.

Historical tours are 45 minutes long and are available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. when no other events are taking place.

Tickets are $10 per adult and free for children 12 and under. End your sightseeing with tea served with homemade pastries on the waterside veranda. Payment, in cash or by electronic transfer, can be made upon arrival. For a list of events and schedule .

The Greenwood Living History Center is a voluntary, non-profit organization that preserves and sustains the interests, stories, dreams and accomplishments of Canadians that span across five generations of the Nobbs, Shepherd and Delesdernier families.

These families occupied the house and left photographs and correspondence there. This historic Hudson home was built in 1712. The history of Greenwood is complex and is told through numerous historical documents, paintings and objects found in this multi-faceted house.

It is also possible to visit this magnificent property and its gardens, explore the vintage garage or have tea with pastries on the veranda. Some visitors have the pleasant impression that time has stopped in the heart of this unique environment.

Several activities are offered on site: guided tours, theater in the magnificent gardens, festivals and other events during where visitors can discover the true value of their antiques.

The non-profit organization preserves the house and relies on its volunteers to allow the public to access the house during the summer. The legacy of this house is a treasure to be shared for present and future generations. For additional information, call 450 458-5396 or email [email protected].

By becoming a member or renewing a membership, you will contribute to the financing of this non-profit organization and this will make it possible to organize a dynamic program throughout the summer season. Members receive discounts on select activities as well as one complimentary tour and tea per season.
