Due to the significant rise in water levels, the Town of L'Île-Perrot has been forced to close off access to Île Claude for an indefinite period of time.

Chemin de l'Île-Claude, the only road allowing access to Île Claude, is partially submerged, making traffic impossible.

According to information shared by the municipal administration, no residence is flooded at this time. However, properties closer to the water are more precarious.

Residents of the area must leave their vehicles at the entrance of the island and walk to their homes on rue des Manoirs.

Île-Perrot Nord

The situation is also precarious on Île-Perrot Nord where the water has reached boulevard Perrot Nord. Only local traffic is allowed.

For Terrasse-Vaudreuil residents, access to the municipality is only possible via the 3rd boulevard. The same applies for exiting.

At the time of writing, the level of Lake of Two Mountains, in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and Terrasse-Vaudreuil, was 24.21 meters. As for Lake Saint-Louis, it was at 22.35 meters.
