From humble beginnings, and thanks to a local passion for film, the Hudson Film Festival has grown to become well known. It is now known as The Big little Canadian Film Festival, organized by the Hudson Film Society. The 8th edition in 2023 will take place on April 12th.

As usual, the festival's main screen is located at the old train station, now known as the Hudson Village Theatre, as well as the city's cultural center.

Hudson Film Society and festival president Clint Ward explains, "The Toronto Film Festival is helping us with the selection of films and the connections with distributors, scheduling, etc."

A total of 13 films will be presented. These will be screened in their original version, with English subtitles when not in English.
