The president of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital Foundation, Denis Lapointe, announced on Tuesday that the honorary president of the 18th edition of the Salon des vins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges will be the General Director of the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Sébastien Laliberté.

"It is a pleasure to announce that Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges will be doubly involved in the 18th Salon des vins scheduled for Wednesday, May 24, 2023," said Mr. Lapointe. "We know that the caisse has always been one of the unfailing partners by contributing financially, but also morally with this assiduous collaboration that the employees of the caisse have maintained over the years," he said.

For his part, Sébastien Laliberté said he was honored by the consideration given by the members of the organizing committee to occupy this key role: "We know how much the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show is mobilizing in the community, because it is the bearer of one of the largest infrastructure projects to see the light of day in the region: the Vaudreuil-Soulanges hospital. Over the years, this show has grown in size and has taken more and more space in the heart of our community. This generosity has generated resources that have helped support the valuable mission of its foundation, which is based on the health and well-being of the people of Vaudreuil-Soulanges."

The 2022 edition of the Wine Show marked the return of the event after a two-year absence due to the pandemic. A total of $90,000 was raised for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital Foundation.

The 18th edition of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Wine Show will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (VIP access) and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (general public access).
