A project to construct a new six-storey building with 270 units and two businesses in Saint-Zotique will be the subject of an information session this Tuesday, March 14, at 6 p.m., at City Hall.

The future building will be built by a consortium of developers and will be located in the area of the new high school on 20th Street, facing 28th Avenue East.

In addition to the two commercial spaces and 270 units, the building will have two parking facilities; one in the basement and a second on the first floor.

The five floors above will include affordable rental units and condominiums. The land will retain one third of its length of woodland, following the authorizations of the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les Changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs.

At this time, no date for the start of the work has been set or announced.

Public information session

This Tuesday, March 14, at 6 p.m., citizens wishing to learn more about the project are invited to an information session at City Hall.

The promoters involved will be on hand to present the project and answer questions from citizens.

Please note that no reservation is required to attend the event.
