After the cold weather on Wednesday, Vaudreuil-Soulanges will receive significant amounts of snow and blowing snow from Thursday to Friday, according to Environment Canada.

The low-pressure system from Colorado is moving towards Quebec and will intensify. The more sustained snow will gradually begin Thursday evening over the southern part of the province.

In fact, The Weather Network is forecasting up to 25 cm of snow by Saturday. There is also a chance that the snow will turn into rain, which could cause an episode of freezing rain. This could be accompanied by wind gusts up to 44 km/h.

Hazardous road conditions can be expected due to variable visibility that could quickly change from good to zero on Thursday and Friday morning. In addition, hazardous road conditions are possible due to icy roads on Friday.
