The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion  wishes to inform its citizens that changes will be made to the collection schedule for  2023. While the areas remain the same, changes to the collection days for household waste, food waste, bulky waste and green waste are now in effect.Only the recycling pickup will remain unchanged for the entire territory.

The contract for residual materials management expired this year. The City issued a call for tenders to find a new service provider, which explains the reason for the changes to collections for 2023.

As always, garbage collection will continue to take place every two weeks for all residential areas.  Recycling and food waste collections will take place every week as usual. Christmas tree pickup will take place from January 3rd to 13th in all sectors. A special cardboard collection will take place on January 6th and July 7th for sectors 1 to 4, and on January 3rd and July 4th for sector 5.

Bulky items, which are collected once a month, can be placed at the curb up to five days before collection and before 7 a.m. on the same day.  Please remember that this collection will be the last opportunity to dispose of household objects.  Additional collections for large items will be added throughout the year.  Citizens are urged to consult the City's website for details.  Items that are part of this collection include sinks, showers, toilets, bathtubs, furniture (upholstered or not), box springs and mattresses. Other bulky items can be brought to the Vaudreuil-Dorion Ecocentre.
