Parcel theft arrests in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot
Two individuals were arrested on December 12 for a series of package thefts in Notre-Dame-de-L' Île-Perrot.
The suspects, a 28 year old man and a 48 year old woman were released with a promise to testify in court at a later date. At this time, two files have been solved, but several other people could have been robbed by these same suspects.
The vehicle used was a gray Kia Rondo with green and blue lettering from a housekeeping company. The targeted area is mainly Boulevard Don-Quichotte, Grand Boulevard and Boulevard Perrot, north of Boulevard Saint-Joseph.
Since approximately 70 packages were stolen between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., investigators are asking people who think they have been robbed to call the police station (450) 424-1212) or to show up with proof of purchase and/or proof of delivery and identification.
